S’Ona Sonora is the studio founded by Laura Díez Mora and dedicated to the craft of dialogue editing. The studio approaches dialogue editing as invisible storytelling: the disciplined work of cleaning, shaping, and refining performances so their emotional truth remains intact while clarity stays absolute.
The team focuses on finding the right take, smoothing transitions, and removing distractions so audiences connect with characters rather than mechanics. When dialogue is right, the mix opens up and the story breathes. The studio works closely with supervising sound editors and re-recording mixers to deliver meticulously organized sessions prepared for the final mix.
The Founder
Laura Díez Mora
Born in Palma de Mallorca, Laura Díez Mora trained at ESCAC (Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya) and began her professional path under the mentorship of renowned sound designer Oriol Tarragó at Coser y Cantar Studios, contributing to major national and international productions.
With over 15 years of experience, Laura Díez Mora has built a career specializing in dialogue editing and sound editorial for feature films and series. Her credits include collaborations with directors such as J.A. Bayona, Denis Villeneuve, Andy Muschietti, Oriol Paulo, and Daniel Monzón on projects that demanded meticulous attention to performance, clarity, and emotional truth.
Through S’Ona Sonora, Laura Díez Mora has shaped a studio where technical precision and artistic intuition converge. Recording, mixing, and Foley production are developed with a trusted network of collaborators so each project receives the expertise it requires.
